“Brut Nature” is even sexier than it sounds (a WA 91-point Cava)
To the naked ear, brut nature might sound like the title of a National Geographic special (or some awesome French porn flick).
But to the connoisseur of sparkling wines, it denotes a Champagne-method wine to which no dosage (or sugar) has been added for the second fermentation.
Brut nature sparkling wines, like the Mercat Cava (from Spain) above, are known for their zinging acidity (making them super food-friendly) and for their Technicolor fruit flavors.
We currently pouring the Mercat by the glass at Vino Vino and we’re entirely geeked about it.
Not to mention that Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate gave it 91 points…
Yes, a 91-point Cava!
Get it while it’s hot at Vino Vino…
