Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner

Imagine a concoction made of citrus, white pepper, and a hint of herb and berries…think of it cold with a delicate and ephemeral effervescence, condensation beading along the glass.

That’s what we’re pouring, but it’s not a cocktail.

It’s a wine that will send a tingle down your spine. Domäne Wachau Grüner Veltliner, with its high acid and relatively low alcohol is great for this time of year when the heat is nothing short of oppressive.

Domäne Wachau is an Austrian estate in its namesake valley that has the good fortune to overlook the historic (and storied) Danube River. This region is up and coming and there’s no doubt that Grüner Veltliner is the wind in its sails.

But you don’t have to imagine the river breeze blessing a cooler corner of the world, you can just come and taste it nightly at Vino Vino. It’ll put the chill back in your relax.
